We are facing a biodiversity crisis, losing species at the fastest rate in Earth’s history and threatening our future. Working together we can fight to restore our lost wild spaces and create thriving habitats for people and wildlife.
Creating Tomorrow’s Forests Biodiversity Banking programme allows businesses and individuals to invest in our natural environment by funding our carefully selected projects. Join us and you will receive regular updates on how your investment is progressing and how you are helping to restore our lost biodiversity.
We ensure that sites are predominantly marginal and degraded land in order to maximise the contribution to biodiversity and minimise the conversion of productive agricultural land. We focus particularly in establishing connectivity with surrounding habitat, to create contiguous areas of high biodiversity that encourage more wildlife.
When planning sites, we consider the natural topography and features of the area, working with the landscape to restore the biodiversity that should occur there. We consider re-establishing connectivity with existing habitat and are careful to consider the habitat requirements of multiple species groups.
Monitoring increases in biodiversity is the keystone of ensuring that we are delivering solid results and creating vibrant ecosystems. We achieve this by adhering to the guidelines of the DEFRA biodiversity metric and ISO 8683 Process for designing and implementing biodiversity net gain. We complement the regulations with extensive baseline and ongoing surveying of key species groups.
Sign UpEverything we do is designed to maximise native biodiversity and create resilient habitats. We monitor our projects closely to ensure that the projected biodiversity gains occur and we manage our sites sensitively and adaptively, restoring thriving ecosystems for the long-term
One of our greatest passions is educating people on why preserving and restoring biodiversity is so essential to planetary and personal wellbeing. We offer guided site visits so that our biodiversity investors can see how nature thrives when we create the right conditions. We also provide webinars, dedicated subscriber blogs, and detailed updates on our project progress, so you know how your contribution is helping nature to grow.
